With more than 8 thousand km of beaches, the Brazilian coast offers a wide range of tourist attractions.
Again, thanks to its favorable climate, the tourism industry in Brazil has no low seasons and operates throughout the year. Its hot climate and closeness to Europe has enabled the gigantic progress of undertakers along the beaches over the last years. And the offer still does not meet the demand.
This is more specially the case of the North East, where the hotel occupancy and even the undertakings attract the European tourists because of their low costs; the recently-refurbished airport infrastructure and low real estate prices have also brought about a new phenomenon in terms of occupancy and tourism in Brazil: the permanent stay of Europeans in the region.
Rio de Janeiro may still be highlighted in this field as the main postcard of Brazil, and remains the major destination for leisure tourism in the country.
The city of São Paulo is also one of the main destinations for business tourism in Latin America thanks to its chains of restaurants, bars (over 12 thousand) and hotels constantly renewed and perfected.
The Amazon and Pantanal regions are also to be highlighted as branches of ecotourism to observe the enormous biodiversity, not to mention the thick, untouchable native forest, sanctuaries for species only found in this habitat.
With the increased inflow of international tourism, it is a known fact that Brazil still remains to receive major investments in Resorts and Hotels to exploit the country’s vocation for tourism and natural beauties.
